The first piece of jewellery created, the best selling Mama Moon Signet was carved and born as a way of connecting with the moon, the mother, the feminine energy and the cyclical nature of life.
As a child who didn’t sleep well, I would look out at the moon shining down while everyone in the house, and what felt like the world, slept. She brought me comfort and light in the darkness of the night. As I grew older i began to notice the energy shift when the moon was full, and later i laboured with my eldest children under the full moon too. It was only after my youngest made her way into the world on the new moon, or dark moon, i fully began to appreciate her in all of her phases.
This ring is designed with the idea that the wearer will also appreciate and honour themselves in all their phases, that the light and dark are never a permanent state , ever changing and ever evolving.
All production of this ring is undertaken by hand in the UK, between the workshop in Dorset and the Hatton Garden casters.
