Sirens have symbolised the dangers of the ocean and power within the waves since Ancient Greece and are a great part of Greek mythology. Later in the Middle Ages they became associated with lust and temptation, and were often depicted luring sailors to a watery end with their enchanting beauty and melodies.
These Siren earrings were created for those whose fiery hearts are soothed by the waters of the ocean, but who also understand the powerful force beneath its surface. They are also a reminder to use our own voices and not to quite our own enchanting melodies.
All production of these earrings are made by hand in the UK, between the workshop in Dorset and the Hatton Garden casters.
Gold plated earrings will come with a 9ct gold Creole style post, silver earrings will come with a silver post.
